New WFU students participate in the Deacon Camp Pre-Orientation program

About Deacon Camp: An Insider’s Guide to Wake Forest

Deacon Camp students will meet various Demon Deacon coaches, get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at Wake Athletics and learn more about the campus-wide traditions that create meaningful memories throughout the year.

Students will also be introduced to Wake Forest’s motto, Pro Humanitate, through direct service with local nonprofit organizations, all while learning more about the Winston-Salem community and building friendships with fellow Demon Deacons in Deacon Camp’s sister program, SPARC.

The typical program schedule runs 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with breaks throughout the day.

Deacon Camp is designed and facilitated by student leaders and staff from the Office of Civic & Community Engagement with partnership from Wake Forest Athletics and Alumni Engagement.

Deacon Camp accepts students on a rolling basis, with spots filled first-come, first-served.
